The Water Collection is a five hour collection of forty three video paintings shot by Isabelle Inghilleri, Sanchita Islam and William Raban.

This collection was shot in 2005 and 2006. More than half of the collection was shot by Isabelle Inghillieri. Still and passing, restless and unchanging, the river measures out our lives while the sea places them in time. Isabelle’s remarkable video paintings of Norwegian river ice flows and stark seascapes recall TS Eliot’s line: 'the sea is all about us, the river within us'. In a contrasting style, Sanchita and William similarly explore continuity and change in their summer seascapes.
